How far in advance?

    Typically they don't release the AP rates until a few months ahead of time. What I would do is make the reservation now. Then call every month & ask if there is an AP rate available. When there's finally one, ask them to apply it to your existing reservation.

    Just in case the rate isn't available for your dates, you may want to make another hotel reservation for a back up.

    Apparently, Aug-Sep is the most popular month for birthdays, from what I've read!

    All of my due dates were in September! Apparently I get unusually cold in December. LOL
