Against my better judgement I agreed to pick up cash. It was just getting dark outside, the other party was counting out cash for me and I was double checking the count. I happened to look up and saw 2 guys looking through the window at us from outside. I said "oh @#$% !" I realized that I was now a target when I walked out. Fortunately my customer took measures to make sure I made it out OK. I was strict about a "no cash" rule from that day on.
