One year long pants and sweatshirts, this past feb shorts and we swam everyday, adn we've seen everything in between. Overall we love going in Feb, especially since temps are usually in the teens with 2-3 feet of snow at home.

However, it's still much more enjoyable than going during the summer, because you don't suffer from the heat. It can get very chilly though; in 2007 it was so cold that one night, even though we were in jackets, long sleeve shirts and long pants, we headed back to the room in the evening because we were numb with cold. That was the first time in years that such a thing occurred, though, at least on our Feb/Mar trips.

Originally Posted By finallygoing Knight We go every year at this time and Sun-and-Fun is correct that it is most crowded on Sat. to Mon. If you can extend your trip to be there Thurs or Tues then go to MK that day. It is always the most crowded of the parks during this holiday time. When crowds get unbearable you can go on things like the People Mover or Carousel of Progress. They are so old , there is never a crowd for them. Also in MK is Tom Saywer's Island. It's a little known treasure there that you have to take a raft to. It's a great haven when the park gets crowded. Epcot will be the least crowded ( or at least seem that way because it is so large ). AK gets packed during the day, so arrive early to do the popular safari ride or Expedition Earth, then go to either the Pangani Forest Trail or Maharajah Jungle Trek when the crowds get heavy...less people will be there. AK closes early in Feb. ( 6 or 7 o'clock) so plan your day accordingly. The popular thrill rides at DS will be an hour or so wait, so make sure you use the fast pass system to go on them. When crowds get bad a DS you can also go on the Great Movie Ride or Star Tours. These have been around for years and lines are smaller. Another piece of advice, eat early to avoid the crowds at the regular dining times...it will be worth it. The weather is usually good in Feb. Rarely do you get rain, you if it does rain just put a poucho on and go to the parks. Less people will be there. If you are coming from the Northeast, like we do, even a "cold" February day will be a relief for you.

This past Feb was the warmest, about 85 each day. Warmer than it ever got at home all summer. I loved texting friends pics of my boys in the pool while I received pics of theirs making snowmen Here's hoping for a repeat this feb.
