I would guess that it would take less than 1 hour 15 minutes to get there, even with bad traffic, but I'm not sure. You could check a van service website as if you were going to use them, and see when they want to pick you up. That would be a pretty good indicator of when you would need to leave, since they always get you there with plenty of time to spare. (Super Shuttle and Prime Time Shuttle seem to be popular LAX choices).

That gives us 2 hours to get to LAX. If we are early... even better. I'm from Albuquerque, NM....going through our security check point is nothing. LAX is a bit overwhelming to me. Better safe than sorry! :0) Thanks for the advice! By the way...LuLu apparently Encounter is open again. I looked it up online. They did close for a time. They are open every day for lunch and only open like Thursday-Sunday for dinner. We probably won't be able to go there afterall.....there's always next time. :0)
