I'm asking about the box on the ledge, not the new ring on top of the building.

The edges line up visually with the rims and ribs on the mountain, and it blends in surprisingly well

I've never seen the top of the building up close, but I can't imagine that it actually needs to be as tall as it is; the old design looked like it had about a 2' lip above the surface, so it would only need another 1.5' to meet fall protection standards

And I have no idea how it will help with fall protection when cleaning the surface of the dome itself (which is what started the whole thing). Maybe more tie-in points for rapelling down?

Don't see how a new ring will help for fall protection. New rigging perhaps, but there's got to be an easier, faster, better way.

Did you notice that the recent rains help clean the roof? Just wait a few months and Disney doesn't even have to clean it.

Hans learned a valuable lesson in patience, and I like to bring it up every now and again to make him laugh.

So now you know the fabled park bench story, I hope you will pass it on to your family and loved ones so that it can live on in the hearts of us all.
