Unfortunately, in law enforcement we don't have the luxury of saying always what is on our minds and have to maintain high standards at all times. If you're terrified, who else are you supposed to call for help? Besides, you are supposed to call the police for help when a situation is escalating...even if you aren't completely terrified. It's the smart, safe thing to do. I find it funny that men are the ones who are acting like a 12 year old might not be scary. Women often perceive dangerous situations a bit differently.
