As long as you are in line before the park closes, they will let you ride it. It looked like a lot of people were doing riding it for early entry. There was a lot of running to get into the park and most seemed to be heading that way.

We did this in December and it was only about a 15-20 minute wait. And we didn't feel like we were wasting park time by standing in a long line. Lastly, I think you get much more out of Early Entry by using it to do FL and TL.

If you can make sure you're one of the first people in the park, doing it first thing is fine. But unless it's an uncrowded day, that involves getting to the front gates x-number of minutes early anyway, and to me a line is a line, whether at the front gates or at the lagoon.

All the families were still partying hard late at night, too. My vote: EE. That's what we'll be doing for sure next time we're there. It's so nostalgic getting on those subs again, after decades of not being on them. The scenery is different, but the feel is there.
