Unless things have changed the only Disney hotels that can sleep 5 are Newport Bay Club and Camp Davy Crockett and the NBC rooms book up very quickly. Davy Crockett has no shuttle so is only suitable if you have a car. You might be better of calling reservations as I'd be concerned you may end up in a room with 4 beds and a crib. Which DLP site are you looking at as there are variations from country to country? I've never had occasion to change my rate so I don't know if they will. The rates don't change much, but they do have regular sales. I've heard people complain that these are only available to those in certain countries though. I would suggest that it would be worth one of you investing in an AP to get AP rates on the hotels. I managed 40% off DL Hotel once thanks to my AP. If you could get similar to that level of discount again it might be easier to book two rooms. Keep a check on the DLP specific boards on sites like magicforum where offers etc. get discussed more!!!

I stayed there once and was a little disappointed. It's great for kids, but I would say the Adagio seems the better bet for your party. Both are good neighbour hotels. If you have a car the Marriott is very nice and has what basically amount to 2 bedroom homes available. There are transportation alternatives, but I find them a pain. I can't recommend this place enough though. LPer Davewasbaloo has/had a villa there so if you are interested he would be worth chatting to!!!
