My friend at the dog pound called me immediately and told me she had a young yellow lab stray that was nearing "red tag" day. So I thought long and hard and decided that my house just wasn't a home anymore without a furry friend around.
So today I went down to the pound and adopted a new dog. She is a 6 month old yellow lab stray. She's very visual and so friendly. Its just love at first sight.

Now for the tough part. I need to pick a name for my new "furry friend" and I want some help. I was thinking of Dixie, Cindy or Lacy. But I want to ask everyone for their help in possible names. Please Help! Thanks everyone!

Does she seem like an Ursula? One of my friends is an Ursula and she's a cute blonde (sorry guys, she's married!).

Very awesome...I've thought for a while if I ever get a dog, I'd most likely wanna get a yellow lab.

or the names you've listed, I'm not a fan of two: Cindy & Lacy. Lacy's a, um, "lady of the evening" name to me, and Cindy's a Brady.

I REALLY like both Dixie & Ursula, though!

My Aunt and Uncle had a golden retriever named Snickers. I love that name. Snickers passed away about a year ago.

How about Kit Kat? That'd probably be better for a cat though.
