He graduated from my High School!

I feel so dirty. My education might not have been as good as I thought it was. We probably had some of the same teachers. Several long time teachers retired the year I graduated, they would have been there long enough to have had them...Ugh, I hope Mr. Pierce wasn't there (Civics)then.

Obviously here in Utah there's plenty o' Glenn Beck, crazy person, fans, since he's a Mormon. But there's also plenty of people who absolutely hate that connection. Several of my good Mormon friends just cringe and wince when someone talks about him being LDS. They're terribly embarrassed by it.

And I believe Journey and Heuey Lewis and the News members went to my school too.

And hopemax, I doubt Beck is the same guy from high school. Rarely do 45 year olds carry the same beliefs as when they were 15-18. You and Beck might have had great teachers backed up by a stellar curriculum in those days; I'd bet that high strung Beck went off the deep end well past high school.

I'm guessing it's about the time he realized he could become a millionaire taking advantage of the gullible with phony outrage. Most high school students aren't that cynical yet.
