They even generate over 30% of their electrical usage on-site! WDW faces a huge cost in maintaining infrastructure that Disneyland does not face. Does it really surprise anyone that Disney tries to recover a portion of this cost through DVC sales etc? Yes, Disneyland may get a little attention to detail that WDW lacks. But WDW does a tremendous job in maintaining what is truly a vacation CITY!

And I'm a big fan of DCA...

I prefer WDW's exterior, but I love the mirror effect and not knowing when the drop is coming on DCA/WDSP's version. I just wanted to share with people why they are different.
