Pennsylvania GOP ad tries to raise Rev. Wright from the dead. If they can't promote their own agenda instead of trying this lame crap, just get the hell out of the race.

I can't agree with the "tone" of your post but I understand your point and do agree that we'd be better off as a country if that style of politics were consistently disavowed and the GOP (and Dems) talked about their own plans for our country instead of just tearing down.
Agree with them or not, I think the Obama campaign has done a pretty good job on that point. I was watching Obama and McCain in rallies these last coupld of days and when Obama's crowd started to boo when McCain's name was mentioned Obama stopped them by saying "I don't need you to boo, I need you to vote." I thought that was a really good thing and I wish more politicians would do it.

Now it's just become another catch phrase, so it's kind of annoying.

    OBAMA TELEPROMPTER

...a noun, a verb, and John McCAIN!

    (pause to allow for booing)

(interupts) no no! You don't need to boo, you just need to VOTE!

    (pause to allow for cheering)

Still, it's a lot better than standing there in the midst of hate filled boos with cheshire cat grins like Palin and McCain do.
