The pyramid never quite looked right to me, although I never really knew why. Throw in the highly visible, and barely themed, wall just behind it housing the massive buildings, and it really comes off as a last minute look. The Cantina across the path looks great (as does the theming stretching into the lagoon), and the inside of the main building looks great, but it has always seemed to me that they forgot that they were making a giant building and had to cover it up at the last second. I hate to say it, but the Rainforest Cafe in Anaheim is a more convincing temple than the Mexico Pavillion, and it's very clearly a restuarant. If they can hide a CircleVision movie in a mountain range or an ancient Chinese shrine, why can't they hide a Mexican pavillion in a Mexican building?
