We went to Disneyland every day around 10:00am. We walked all around, did rides, shows, ect. After lunch (about 1:30ish), the girls were getting that sleepy, stare off in space look. We hopped on the Disneyland Train, and had both girls lay down, head on our laps with curled up legs (to make room for others). We rubbed their foreheads softly until they fell asleep (it only took about 5 minutes to fall asleep because they were tierd from walking!). We would softly cover their ear with our hand when the ride would become noisey. We would ride around the park 3 or 4 times, and then wake them, and walked over to Cali Adventure around 3:00ish. They were good to go for the rest of the day (until park closed around 8pm)! It was a good nap for them, and a great foot rest for us! It may not work for every four year old, but I have been training these girls for Disneyland walking and rideing since they were been born! LOL! At age 2, I had them hiking to the top of Multnomah Falls in Oregon....They complained less then I did! I had them rideing "The Spider", and "Tilt-a-whirl" when the were 14 months old.....I got sick, but not them! They were hilarious at Disneyland! Isabelle is four years old, weighs 29lbs, and her favorite ride was Space Mountain! Hayley is four years old, and insisted on being in the front of the log on Splash Mountain! They are Disneyland fanatics, and so am I!!!!!! OH......On the days that Disneyland was open until 11pm, we went back to the hotel for a 2 1/2 hour nap...I think they could have done the "Train nap", but I didn't want to take the chance......we were out until 1am that night buying Princess dresses, so the 2 1/2 hour nap was a very good thing! LOL!

We're about to do trip #2 and I've got them on their training program. We are practicing walking everywhere. Haven't done it lately, but I have to laugh because we had our youngest hiking at Multnomah falls when she was one/two as well--how's that for coincidence? I thought I was the only one who did that...

I think that it's so much better for the little ones to walk because it wears them out, and they crash at the hotel by the end of the day, and sleep soundly all night! Have fun on your next trip!
