I like being in control on my vacations, and it's hard when you don't know anything. But that's what LP is for!

The scale is different, and some things are in different spots and have their own unique look and feel, but when all is said and done they're two parks with more in common than different.

When you're walking down Main Street I think you'll be quite tickled to see the differences from and similarites to Disneyland. It almost takes you back to the feeling of seeing Disneyland the first time - there's nothing quite like the thrill of a first trip! I agree, don't over-plan and ruin the surprises (although it's good to have a bit of knowledge so you can make restaurant bookings and so on). Enjoy it!!

And I cannot wait to hear your thoughts.

It was a rather surreal experiance. Like visiting DL in a parallel universe where things seem familiar, yet strange.
