So anyone got anything? I would have expected more heads exploding if serious changes were going on, but maybe it's sliding under the radar?

Kind of like a recurring dream I used to have. I would enter a room that seemed normal but then weird things started to happen. Lights would go out and the switches wouldn't turn them back on. No matter what I did there always seemed to be a dark presence there blocking me. Then suddenly I would start floating above the scene... I would will myself to fly and soon I would be outside of the room soaring through the air and looking down on the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It was a tremendously exhilarating and joyous experience. THAT'S what I'm talking about!!

On the other hand, maybe I'm just in need of major psychiatric help...

Even partially liking the show I would no like to see them in Any Disney park. I'm not sure if they still have the parade in DCA where P and F are a part of?

Considering the alternatives and, if they can keep the same humor in it that the show has, it should be a good fit and will make it a place where kids AND adults can have fun together. Where have I heard the statement? Anyway, I just hope that they don't just close it down completely. Disney has been known to do that.

There is a lot of potential with that theme, and judging by my kids' excitement when they do the world showcase with Agent P, I think it just might work out.

The only thing I wonder about is, can they keep the "epcot" feeling if they retheme the pavillion. I would like to leave feeling inspired. You know, maybe touch on some themes from the late great Horizons. If you can dream it, you can do it.

Yes, it's supposed to be lighthearted and fun, but if we need to rely on an existing cartoon property to prove that there's imagination left in the world, I think that speaks for itself.

I also fear that the attraction wouldn't age well or be relatable for a lot of guests. The show has been on Disney Channel for several years now (the pilot aired following the premiere of HSM2), so it will probably only have 2-3 more years maximum. By the time they build and open the attraction, that's not a lot of time.

Also, what makes the show so fun is a lot of the running gags, which I don't think would make sense in a situation where guests aren't familiar with the series. It takes a couple episodes to really understand it, and get the sense of humor, which I think would be really diminished in a ~10 theme park attraction

Don't get me wrong, I really like P&F. I'm as far away from the target audience as possible, and I honestly think it's one of the best shows on TV right now. But I don't think that this would work well. In the best-case scenario, we'd end up with something in a few years that looks as equally dated and tacky as the Epcot Character Spot, only to grow worse with age

    Unlike Figment.

"I also fear that the attraction wouldn't age well"

    Fair point.

"and I honestly think it's one of the best shows on TV right now."

    It is.

One of the more difficult things to grasp is why one of the boys (main character) has a head shaped like a triangle. I guess it is no less believable the the football shaped head of Stewie.

It is about two brothers that have the ability to think up some of the most outrageous contraptions and then mysteriously have the ability to build them. Sort of a modern day "If you can dream it, you can do it". Even though it is a cartoon it really is the closest thing I have seen in years to being in the spirit of Imagination.

I'm not sure how I feel about it being in the Imagination Pavilion, but at this point, it couldn't be any worse. And with them comes the little blue platypus named Perry who happens to be a secret agent when he's not being a stuffed animal. Already made up for retail. All kids will be yelling "Where's Perry!"

Universal has the Simpsons, Despicable Me and Shrek not to mention Sponge Bob Square Pants. Disney could use a modern cartoon representation that today's kids can relate too. If done properly (big IF) it could also be educational with out kids knowing it.

If that's the case, wouldn't surprise me if they did add them to Epcot. That would be par for the course for WDW.

There was also a shot of Illuminations from before its Reflections of Earth days, featuring the solid globe that they projected lasers onto. Makes you wonder who approves this stuff

Because the shot looks good and because the people who edited the video have never been inside the Imagination pavilion. The people who approved it probably never have either - and if they have, they don't know the difference between the old Image Works and the new one.

Other than loony tunes , I can't think of another cartoon that has long term stability.
