How soon DCA needs a big draw would determine which ride is built.

10 to measure the parking lot, 1 to get an idea, 5 to work on it AFTER all the budget cuts, 20 more to complain how their ideas never get used....you get the idea.

I think most would agree here that was back in 2001. Four years of sucky attendance later proves it even more ;).

Why bother with any E ticket, when the basic infrastructure of the park needs a massive overhaul?

    ToT is an E-Ticket.

What did that solve them for 2004?

What's another E Ticket going to do that ToT could not do?

This whole situation with this park is just as pathetic as the ill prepardness this country is with disasters!

The Main reason why DCA has such a bad wrap is because there is not enough to do, Especially when Compared To Disneyland Next store. The reason Why Disneyland is what it is today is because Walt Kept building E-tickets and other rides to add what was already there. WHile of course one ride wont fix the place it is definatly another 30-60 minutes added on to a persons day

and if the park is only open for 10 hours hours this could be where they spend 10% of there day. What they need to do is add more and more attractions that everyone can enjoy. The infrustructure is fine they need to add more and more and now replace what is already their.

The earlier rumor makes sense. So does the second one. But take the two together and they conflict with each other. So who knows?

Also, I dont think that they were saying Imagineers were simply measuring the size of Timon.

I took it to be that they were probably measuring certain aspects of timon and how Cars or incredibles would fit, and probably looking at certain site lines.

Both of these attractions will have huge footprints, and don't really seem to be that great. Sure Cars is sort of fun, but really, was Test Track that good. Not in my opinion. And for the Incredibles, how long have you guys wanted a new film for Star Tours. As soon as the novelty of the technology wears off, it will start to look really tired. I want something that is related to California, that is an original concept, and in an ideal world uses new technology but that isn't at the top of the list.

The cars attraction would although very large in size has such a clever footprint that it would include walkways underneath parts of the outside areas of the attraction track these areas would also have food locations incorporated within the same structure. The artwork is quite detailed and it could either be incorpoarted into HPB or become its own unque land right behind TOT. This new attraction would also finally create a loop in the park with acces to this whole new area from the warf to HPB. It is not a small project but a soundation for future additions.
