The music isn't really all that unique, with the chorus of the main song pretty similar to the chorus of We are the World. The staging of the Spaceship fight is pretty similar to the Star Wars death star sequence. The dance coreography is similar to the dance moves of earlier MJ videos. It's one of those projects I really wanted to like more than I did. I remember being really disappointed when I saw it at DL during it's run... and I watched it again recently on youtube and felt just as disappointed. The only parts of it I really like are MJ himself and the very last song from the Bad album. That song rocks it. - Anatole

Wish they would release it on DVD.

Perhaps "We Are Here To Change The World" and everything else in Captain EO was derivative. However, seeing MJ do his trademark moves, the dance chorus, and feeling the bass groove thump through your body... for me at least, it made me happy. I always felt like dancing my way out of the theater. I wish DL would bring Captain EO back for even a short time, to honor the memory of _the_ pop icon of the 20th century.

Disney would have to get some kinda budget put together, to pay for all these things, and retrofit the theater to show the movie again, like replacing the special effects which were removed for HISTA, That's IF they decide to bring the movie back to the former Magic Eye Theater. I sure if they DID bring the movie back, it would attract more visitors to the park. I not saying that Disney can't bring it back, I'm just saying it might take some Money and Work, and Money is something Disney is kinda stingy with, especial if they don't have a budget already set for it.
