Look at the logo for the Studios. It's the water tower. As far as I can recall, they haven't used that as the park logo on anything (directional signage, merchandise, napkins, etc) since they built the Hat in 2001. I don't want to get too excited, but this gives me some hope that the rumors about the hat's pending removal may be true And in all fairness, there's also some 2014 logo merchandise including a sorcerer's hat, but it all appears to be Sorcerer Mickey-branded items, rather than anything related to the Studios specifically

If it's the latter, I would question why they made the conscious decision to change the current logo of the Studios park And I think it's odd that they would use the calendar's cover art on multiple other merchandise items, when they've pushed the Hat so much in recent years (including a glass ornament set that I saw in November) Then again, this could be one of those instances where the merchandise team does something that just doesn't make any sense. I found a bunch of dinosaur toys with Countdown to Extinction labels on them in DL's Adventureland circa 2009
