Very interesting set of clips of folks like President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton from 2005

Basically, well, it is unfair since we are the minority...

Here is one simple quote from Senator Biden.

    >>I pray God when the Democrats take back control we don't make the kind of naked power grab you are doing."<<

But I guess when you are in control, you don't have to do the Bi-partisan effort, even if the President ran on that policy when he was trying to get elected....

Well, there's the fact that the GOP has voted no on virtually everything -- even legislation where they provided significant input (i.e. recovery act). The partisanship is all coming from one side as far as I can tell. If anything, I wish the Democrats would stop trying to work with the GOP and just run over them like a freight train. Sadly, nothing like that has happened at all.

Darkbeer, do you REALLY think like that? Is your reality so amazingly skewed that's what you actually see?

Or are you just a cynical liar?

I don't think the filibuster rules are being currently enforced in a way that results in the Senate living up to its Constitutional responsibilities. If you are going to filibuster, you should have to expend the hot air for hours on end in the Senate chamber to fulfill that filibuster. Otherwise, it's just obstruction, not debate.

I am almost positive that Senator Brown won't vote for the Health Care Bill, since that was one of the major points he made while campaigning. But just like Senator Lieberman, someone who might agree with one side or the other on occasion.

But the points made in the video by the Democrats in the OP, Moderation, Bi-Partisan, coming to a mutual agreement, where were they in the last 18 months?

And yet, Scott Brown voted in favor of the health care bill in Massachusetts -- a bill that is more progressive than the one being proposed by either the House or Senate. So, why wouldn't he vote for the same bill in Congress? Could it be partisanship? Don't you see the hypocrisy?
