Anyways, i just tackled WDW for my first time and over the busiest time of year. We really did pretty good for the most part and still had a great time. We felt the crowds really bad at DHS and on NYE the MK was the worst. I was wondering is little Disneyland able to handle the crowds better? or is it worse? I have been to DL many times and really just want to enjoy the festivities, see the changes at DCA and when the crowds get to me leave. Anyways any help would be fantastic! I know i am crazy but my husband has time off work and it a good oppertunity.

Did a few days on Oahu's North Shore, took a week long cruise of the islands (spend NYE on the ship - FABULOUS!), and then a few days on the Kona Coast of the Big Island. Great two weeks, and we loved virtually every minute of it, aside from the usual travel issues (car rentals and airlines!). Tough choice!

I also want to visit Oahu and the big island and we would need additional airfare and like you said rental cars.

We're going, and we'll have a fabulous time, but it'll be the most expensive trip for us ever.

My husband gets over a week off from Christmas to New year and we cant afford to take any more time off. The great thing about palnning this far in advance for Christmas is i can get great deals on airfare and hotels. I hope you have a great time in England and France! I hope go to France next year hopefully.

We're doing a guided tour for a week, with a day in London before, and an extra day in Paris to finish, and then a few days with friends, then back to London to finish out. Just over two weeks. I'm just dreading the plane. Never fun anymore.

It's just a matter of time and who wants to go with.

Tasha - DH is not a crowd guy. Disney = crowds. And he and the child BOTH like bigger, faster, scarier coasters, rather than the "tame" Disney rides. *LOL* They don't understand my need for my "happy place."

On the other end of the trip, we're going out to Hampton Court where I'll get to see people cooking Tudor era food in a Tudor kitchen. Historical food / reenacting is one of my hobbies, and I've been oohing over their stuff for a while. Pretty much a trip of a lifetime for me. All I need now is to find a way to cram in a trip out to Stonehenge...
