We planned our visit to see and balance the large and small attractions so we felt rested, and not overwhelmed, at the end of the trip.

The shows are good. We went on the swamp walk. It was pretty, but hot. (It was June.) There's a water play area to cool off in.
We also went to Weeki Wachee springs, the mermaid park. That was really neat. It's small but has a beach and water slide. We enjoyed the mermaid show even though it's mostly for kids. It's a hour and a half drive from orlando.
