ps. loved when ariel starts singing and the water goes all sparkly, felt like i was five again

'Wishes' was another example of where the show itself often had to overcome it's own soundtrack. For me, I don't enjoy hearing precocious kids singing. The show itself was terrific, but I cringed when the little girl's voice came on with 'whiiisssh-eeees'.

I'm looking forward to WOC, and I'm sure it'll knock me out visually. I just hope they keep the cloying cuteness to a minimum.

Debate is fun and useful most times, but there is a difference between that and complaining about every little thing being done in the parks.

I hope I'm never that bitter and joyless.

Basically, since the show is essentially automated once it's programmed, you might need a couple of techs pushing the buttons. You might need a crew to maintain and repair the equipment. Pay for electricity and gas. You don't even need to reload fireworks because there isn't any.
In terms of labor costs, it's very little (if you don't count guest control)
    cause there are no actors.

For F! You need to pay all the actors, fireworks, maintain the watercraft and floats (although you can share the cost since they are attractions).

So is it costly to run WOC compared to F!- I don't think so.

There's a fountain show by Ports O Call in San Pedro by the Cruise Ships. That show is definitely automated - as are the fountain shows at the Grove and Americana.

With Bellagio, you only get 3 minute shows - which is just perfect, because you don't get over dosed on it and makes you want more.
Even though WOC is 10 times bigger, that doesn't necessarily translate to a show that's 10 times longer.
