Is March-April truly "peak" season for DL?

In it was listed three times of year described as "peak season" for DL: Thanksgiving week, the week between Christmas and New Year's, and a 3-week period between March 18 and April 9. (Note: This was for 2005. They didn't yet have a DL brochure for 2006.)

    Is mid-March to early April truly "peak" season for DL? Will it be "peak" in 2006?

    If so, yikes! We were tentatively planning to be at DL for a couple of days in early April next year. Will we be facing Christmas-like crowds???

    I found our late march trip to be a complete pain two years in a row now. DL does a 2 week 'spring break' schedule, but schools no longer consistently put their breaks within that period. Both times we have ended up with mid week crowds more substantial than a summermid week crowd. We ended up with the worst of both worlds- off peak rehab schedule, off peak hours, peak crowds.

    Our Spring Break is always mid-March. We have gone then several years in a row. I have found that when Easter is close to that time, it is very crowded. When Easter is later ( like in April) it isn't too bad mid-March. I am hoping it is still that way.
