Or should I save the money for something else?

We even rode Splash Mountain and Space Mountain two times in a row with no wait last year.

Good move. You'll have a great time. Last Oct. was my first time and I will be going back this year.

There were also story telling stations. We cruised on the river boat and a "ghost" told us some scary stories of the sea. Next Octber trip we will do it again.

Agreed Minniemusician. The HalloWishes is the best pyrotech display I've ever seen at the MK. The perimeter cues are fantstic.

The one thing I was dissapointed about was the lack of Headless Horseman. It had been raining all day long and even though it had stopped a few hours before the parade, they had nixed the Horseman's ride.

I WILL catch the ride later this year!

I plan on having dinner at Liberty Tree that night. However, I had been planning to eat at 5 or so, so we can have the rest of the night free for the party. But now that I realize MNSSHP doesn't start until after 6, we probably won't be able to get into MK before 6, will we? Unless of course we wanted to use a day off of our park hoppers.

My concern is if we dine at 6, and it takes us an hour, is that going to be a waste of time that we should be enjoying MNSSHP?

Am I driving anyone nuts yet with my questions? LOL

I'm thinking maybe we will eat at Whispering Canyon that night before MNSSHP starts and then take the boat to MK.

The first hour is our favorite time because we can run around and ride tons of rides. I have a picture from the year before where we were the only people in sight in Fantasyland. I would eat before and then enjoy the crowd-free bliss.

What time does the party start? The WDW park hours show MK closes at 6 PM on the days of the party. Does it start at 6PM, or at a later time?
