In answer, he is not. Unless by "war criminal" you mean "bad-a President who took out the most wanted man in America."

Of course, get into the story and they do explain he had been invited by the President but declined, as he often does, in order to stay out of the spotlight.

That certainly isn't unprecedented from a Bush because his father largely avoided the press during both Clinton and W's years in the White House.

But, read that headline and you can see what CNN was trying to do there. Fox is more blatant and frequent with crap like this...but CNN doesn't have clean hands either.

Getting back to Bush, I seem to remember him stating he was going to pretty much stay out the spotlight during Obama's presidency.

Suddenly readers are taking what some 43 year old dude, living in his mom's basement, eating Cheetos is posting on the internet as Gospel Truth. It's almost scary how EASY it is to become ill informed these days.

Right-wing radio talker Alex Jones said ...

    >> After the president's announcement of bin Laden's death, Jones told his listeners in one broadcast, "My friends, this is a complete and total hoax."

These people are beyond redemption. The extra irony is that they self-congratulate themselves on what "great americans" they are even as they're reducing themselves ever further.

That's a very good observation as well.
