Meanwhile, at EPCOT the Wonder's of Life Pavilion is used occasionally, Odyssey Restaurant and the 2nd floor of Imagination Pavilion remains closed to quests. Actually several potential World Showcase country pavilion locations remain vacant and abandoned. As much as I really don't care to be in any WDW parks while construction is going on, I would gladly be in any of WDW's parks now while construction was going on.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, construction is scheduled to begin next year.

It wouldn't be so bad to have construction time again as long as there was eventually some great reward.

While I think I know what you meant, this didn't make much sense.

That's what I've done for the past couple of years for my Disney Fix and will be doing again this year. We've booked another Disney cruise for this fall. When we return to Orlando we will spend some time in the Theme Parks... the UNIVERSAL theme parks. No WDW once again. Vote with your feet (and wallets) rather than endless (and useless) bitching about it on Fan-boi Bulletin Boards. They will get the message a whole lot quicker. As it is, WDW's attendance remains the highest of any Disney Park in the world and they can easily tell themselves they are doing just fine.

And I still think World Showcase should be heavily revamped to become a "DisneySea" park within EPCOT Center.

Great idea. A full DCA makeover of the place(Disney's Hollywood Adventure maybe?) would be cool. Most of DCA is themed to Southern California anyway, so a subtle makeover of DHS inline with the California park wouldn't be much of a stretch thematically.
