I did have a few other goals that I've met, like I wanted to be under 200 lbs, did that. And I wanted to weigh less than my husband, did that! That was a kicker since it’s the first time in our 25 year marriage that I weigh less than him...giggle, giggle! And I wanted to lose 100 lbs, did it! YAAA! My goal weight is 160, sounds like a lot but for me it works. I have another 18 lbs to go but I think I can do it. Thanks to everyone who has encouraged me in the past I really appreciate it... For those of you who are trying to lose, keep at it and do what works for you, as long as it’s healthy, of course! I never, ever thought I would be able to do it even with the surgery. I feel better; have more energy and my husband thinks he got a new wife without a trade in, thank goodness!

You've lost all that weight. You can lose the last 18 pounds. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but you can do it. And then to reward yourself? Go on a trip to you know where!

Originally Posted By ImaDLFan Thanks so much everyone, I'm going to bask in the warmth for a while! LOL Ursula, I do work out and I am careful what I eat...absolutely no sugar, if I have a sweet tooth I eat something with splenda but I dont eat much of that either, they say artificial sweeteners actually make you more hungry so I just have a little something. If I dont work out I dont lose weight so I have to. Gastric Bypass surgery is a great tool but you have to take care not to overeat or it defeats the purpose. I usually eat 4 small meals a day and I make sure it has lots of protein and veggies. Thank God I dont have a special diet, I just have to stay within the rules of no sugar, low fat and no larger portions. It’s actually kind of freeing!
