I found her totally down to earth and very comfortable to talk to, a busy mom like myself, and her husband's totally cool, too - we discussed places to take the kids hiking (I like Lake Poway). I read into the comments a certain underlying loathing for 'people who go to theme park' and an assumption that most have never been to the theater. What she was saying about theme park audiences make a whole lot more sense when you realize that 1% of the population even cares about theater. Your interview was an 'ah-ha!' moment for me, as I feel I have a better understanding of where Hamburger is coming from. Never knew she was married, never knew she had kids, never knew exactly what the Avant-Garde theatre project was, never knew she was a Disney fan and had been approached by WDI many years ago. This is all great stuff. And very different than the LA Times story that ran a few Sundays ago -- which to me, came across very scholastic. I really liked what I heard in your interview, Michelle, good work.

Everyone I know that has met her has all said that she is really nice and loves to talk with the people that go to the show and in the park in general.
