And as for ABC and reality programing...

    beating+the+life+out+of+ABC+dramas</a>

    >>ABC canceled every new drama it debuted in fall (including "MDs," "That Was Then," "Push, Nevada" and "Dinotopia") while green-lighting about a dozen reality series for 2003, including highbrow fare such as "Extreme Makeover," "Are You Hot: The Search for America's Sexiest People," and "I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here."<<

So, we have about 12 new reality shows in the works, and I read an article that talked about how Simon Cowell of American Idol fame has been talking to ABC to develop programming for them.

It is also interesting to note the current line-ups...

The Practice is now against Everyone Loves Raymond.

8 simple rules is against American Idol and JAG

The Bachelorette is against American Idol. And it is also interesting to note that when Fox decided to make American Idol on Wednesdays 90 minutes, ABC counteracted by reediting the Bachelorette and converting them from 60 minute shows, to 90 minute shows.

But, we do have the new Dragnet Sundays at 10, hopefully that will pull in better numbers than the Practice.

And how Joe Millionaire has become the hot "dating" show, getting higher ratings than the Bachelorette.

But it will be interesting to watch the ratings...

Doobie just said he wasn't that big a fan of the Electrical Parade, but rather Eureka!

I do wish I could have seen Eureka! I loved the music that I have heard online.

I consider my experience of seeing the Electrical Parade one of the highlights of my November trip to Disneyland. After so many years of hearing and reading about it - I finally saw it and it was everything I had read about and MORE!

Eureka! sounds like it was great. I'm sorry that it was discontinued.
