I figured it out after I read the article and gathered some informations about Aulani on the internet. The hotel looks really great, but it reminds me too much of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Doesn't Joe Rhode have any other ideas? At least the new hotel complex in Paris in which Joe Rhode is also involved looks different.

He designed some fantastic buildings: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedensreich_Hundertwasser" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F...rtwasser</a>

Maybe his buildings will look outdated in a few years, but currently I really like them. Gaudi is fantastic as well and I love his buildings. Didn't Frank Lloyd Wright design the Guggenheim Museum in New York? I've never heared of Peter Dominick and have to look on Wiki.

And I really hope it will not be influenced by Hundertwasser, I am with Dave on this (sorry dagobert, I like other Austrians though! ;-) ).

Hundertwasser is an... interesting... choice for inspiration for Disney's latest entertainment complex. It isn't the first time, though.
