The riddler or future riddler was reveled in the dark knight. in the opening scene where they are robbing the bank if you look closeley at the bank maanager's desk(the one with the shotgun) there is a name tag on his desk that reads E. Nigma this is the true idenity of the riddler. The role is played by a very famouse charecter actor named William Ficter. it is not common at al for him to take small roles like the one in the dark knight he did it because it is a villian set up for the next film where he will be the joker. Next time you watch the movie pause the show at his desk and zoom in if you have the means the desk name says E. Nigma.

Officially, there has not been an announcement that there will even be another Batman movie yet (although given the box office of the Dark Knight, I would say that that is only a matter of time) let alone who will be starring in it yet.

Besides, "William Ficter as The Riddler" will hardly have them lining up at the box office.

I would've liked to have seen Billy Dee as Two-Face :) He would have been all smooth and such...a glass of Dom Perignon in one hand and Colt 45 in the other...

I think everyone has to take a que from Disney info and that is until its CONFIRMED by the studio, everything are rumors period. And yes, that includes anything and everything about the next film since it hasn't even been given a go yet. And Nolan has already signed on to do a different film (forgot the name) so it may be a few years until we even hear or get the next one.

I assume if they want Nolan for the next one, they will just wait it out until they can get a schedule and script all parties will agree on.
