I think WDW is largely built out. People are going there anyway so Disney are limiting investment. Understandably, I can imagine that there would be some concern for muslim guests visiting Orlando and the US. But, "prejudices here" WOW! And muslims and middle eastern countries don't have prejudices? At least we have gay bars in Orlando unlike Dubai or Jordan. It's not as if the muslim community is behaving as the welcome wagon to the world's gay and lesbian community, let alone their own muslim gay and lesbian children. Nope, those of us here in the "prejudice" USA have to tow that barge. Tell you what, at Atlanta's next Pride Parade I'll hold a flag of Dubai in one hand and a Jordanian flag in the other waving my support for all those muslim gay and lesbian children living in their respective muslim "free" societies.

They need to build a Celebration II Now if homeland security is a concern (and this will also allow a new pool of labour). I think Middlesex county in Ontario would be a good place to build. Affordable, affluentish (used to be home to the most millionaires per capita), highly skilled (multiple universitities/colleges lots of people with degrees stuck in secratiarial jobs etc), and high unemployment makes this fertile grounds. That and Wally's papa was born north of this area. They could build the Villians Park, Space Port, Disney's America's (Yes there are many countries in the Americas!), Mythical/Beastly Kingdom. Heck with just 24 plus thunderstorms a year it even replicates Florida weather Before you talk about things such as there are plenty of areas like this in US. That woudln't get around Homeland security. Most Americans (well ok not Felons) can cross the border easily, sometimes just one or two questions at the border. Also before you mention BC has great weather, costs would be prohibitive.

Dave, this is how they've "done unto us" so it must be how they want us to "do unto them", too, and I have NO problem with doing just that. I say the same thing to the Christians, Jews, Hindus, and anybloodybody else that tries to treat me as a second-class citizen just because I'm attracted to members of my own sex and not the opposite!! You're correct, Dave - two wrongs do not make a right......but they can damn well level the playing field a bit!(and give them a dose of their own medicine) And if you know a gay muslim, tell him I think he's an imbecile to kowtow to a religion that preaches that he should be killed on sight.

Many believe that Allah creates everything for a reason and the pillars of Islam talk about Umah or love, and the promotion of peace. Read the Koran folks, rather than spouting prejudice bollocks

The fact that a FEW people of these religions actually understand and attempt to live by the peaceful message of love and acceptance that's buried underneath all their dogma matters little as they've done NOTHING to rein in the behavior of their small-minded, hate-filled bretheren. I'm sure you would prefer to have us "turn the other cheek" when one of us is dragged behind a pickup truck until dead.....when the Mormons(themselves poster-children of 'alternative lifestyles'!) donate MILLIONS of dollars to causes bent on denying us our civil rights....when gay teens are bullied and ridiculed to the point of suicide....when gay Iranians must remain closeted, in fear of their lives because the Theocracy they live in denies their existence while CONDONING their murders....but in my experience, turning the other cheek only gets you TWO bruised and bloody cheeks. I'm sorry, Dave. I like you. I think your wife and children are lucky to have you. However, this is a very sore point for me and I will not back down from it. If a truce is ever to be made on this issue, it HAS to start with Them. The instigators. Be they Mormon, Muslim, Baptist, Jew, or anything else. When THEY lay down their arms against us, I will HAPPILY beat my own sword into a plowshare, but NOT ONE MINUTE SOONER!
