It's already difficult enough keeping 55K CM's, and they're straining to maintain a quality workforce. Adding another park would only exacerbate matters.

Will I enjoy having them back? Sure. Are they PotC or HM quality? Not IMHO, but the new layover may be. I am looking forward to Journey when I eventually make it to TDS - But I am looking forward to Sinbad (dependent on the changes), Indy, the shows and TOT more.

For instance, I know the majority of people love the Lord Of The Rings, but it does absolutely nothing for me. <<It certainly is a fun ride but beyond an incredible queue and load/unload area it just isn't that great an attraction IMO. IMO, it's almost better than the ride itself. I don't mind if there is only the one AA, but I think a lot of the scenic effects in the ride are kinda cheesy; more befitting an amusement park dark ride than a signature attraction in a $3bil theme park. I don't recall.... is there any heat effect on JTTCOTE?

I just feel it doesn't seem like you are tunnelling. I appreciate it is tough to accomplish but it isn't clear enough that you are actually making those tunnels.

I won't fault WDI for that though; I would meerly say they have upped the ante with the Yeti. <<And there is nothing on the escape beyond the smoke. I do think it would be better if the ride wasn't so smooth going through the tunnels up to the poiint of encountering the lava monster.

However the OLC saw the tire burn (and considering how many active wheels there are on every vehicle) and got rid of the rougher ride. Journey burns through tires much quicker than Test Track and the torque on the transmission on the climb is intense too. Hence the lengthy shutdowns each year and the maintenance cost. It is still the most expensive attraction in any Disney park to maintain.

I've seen it mentioned on at least one Disney show on tv - the tires that last for a few months instead of just a week or whatever...
