BTW make sure you check extra magic hours right before you arrive as they are subject to changing at any time. This happened to us last year. The schedule changed the week before we arrived. You can find them under calendar at Disney.com or on Allears.net

Much better luck was found using just a 1 day base ticket. You hit one of the parks that doesn't have morning hours around 9 o'clock (Magic Kingdom for us. We rode all of Fantasyland by 9:50ish) and stay till the late hours. Its pretty much always worth it to stay late, because people gradually just don't get in line as much. I also just like the atmosphere at night much more, because all of the minor imperfections are hidden by darkness and all of the lights.. That has been our experience at least. I love how everyone on here has completely different strategies on what to do based on what they like about the Parks most. I'm not a ride fanatic as much as I used to be, so my strategy is somewhere in between.

It must be the time of year when you are going b/c we always use morning magic hours and walk right in. But, we go in the fall when crowds are lower.
