And going during a so called slow period can back-fire, since a lot of conventions are scheduled during to off season, so that can really make it crowded. My first thought is that the summer season will be just barely starting at that time, so I don't think it shouldn't be too crowded. It seems to get really packed after the 4th of July till the end of August. Have a great trip!

We try to avoid the weekends just because they tend to be significantly more crowded. Other than that the crowds tend to be moderate but not quite as bad as say the middle of July. MickeyMommy's right though you never really know until you enter the park that day.
