I picked up this info in Mel's autobiography. Two other names that we durn well better see in Part 2 -- Thurl Ravenscroft and Walt Disney. Walt was a FANTASTIC voice actor as Mickey Mouse in the early shorts--his characterization of the timid but plucky mouse was a big part of Mickey's success. Too bad Mickey sounds nothing like that today. (No dis intended on the current voice actor--I'm sure the over-enthused, hypercaffienated mouse is just what the corporation requests of him.) Thurl, well, obviously you just gotta talk about Thurl. He rules. Dig you later. Narkspud

Thanks for filling me in on some I missed, James. If you could, and anybody else who has any additional information on the actors listed, please forward that information through the Toon Talk Feedback so that I can include it in an upcoming update. Abu233: Russi Taylor was the voice of Gonzo and Robin in "Muppet Babies". She has actually done a LOT of voice work for a lot of different shows, including "The Simpsons". The article was focusing on their Disney work, but look them up on the Internet Movie Database to see their full credits. http://us.imdb.com/ And thanks to all for the great feedback, very happy to hear you have enjoyed the articles! - kch
