This news had me catch my breath a bit and I teared up some. Fortunately, she will always live on in the movies for new generations to discover.

That's what I know her from. I didn't even realize she had done any big films.

My aunt was close to the same age (would've been 85 this year), and she was constantly mistaken for being June Allyson. Apparently, when she was young, she looked exactly like her.

    RIP, Ms. Allyson.

Oops, so this was a legit error, as I had said 'Always', instead of Depends... thanks to Dug and TDG for clearing that up. :)

Well I think in the Depends commercials at the bottom of the screen it said something like "June Allyson - actress" or "June Allyson for Depends" or somethin'. Anyway, yeah, even though I love old Hollywood stuff and pop culture through the decades, I never knew she had such acting credibility. I *may* have known she had "done some work", but certainly nothin' big. All I knew her from was Depends and a joke on "Mama's Family" (surprise surprise, lol).
