But the main page shows what time all the parks open and close, and where we need to be each day, color coded and everything. But everyone does this, right?

I had a lot of information at my fingertips about park hours and extra magic hours so I could make quick dining decisions while on the line. After that the kids keep throwing in more to do and I can refer to it to see where I might be able to fit the extra requests. But if I'm anything like I am at Disneyland, I bet our trip will end up being very unorganized when we get there. With the schedule, though, it will be easier not to miss the dining reservations.
Originally Posted By Mickey4President I made several spreadsheets. Actually I made a planning book that was over 400 pages that had specific info for our family. I had it divided into several color coded sections. They were: Reservations and travel info, WL, F&W/MNSSHP, and each park. In each park section I had parade and show schedules, maps, ride info, and menus. Each night we would sit on our balcony at the WL, and go over menus for the next day, and have a plan of attack for the next day. We were really able to make the most of each day. I had a lot of fun making it, but my DH hated all the ink I use on it. For our next trip, I will make a smaller version of it.

Each night back at the room I'd highlight each thing we did, so we always knew what was left, if it was something we wanted. For the next trip I just listed all the restaurants and asked my family which they wanted. Then tried to figure which ones, which days. We're going to be 11 for 8 days, and then only 3 for 7 days. Lots of meals. Next month when I can call in the reservations, it will probably all change, but at least I have a starting place.
