My Son has Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I am also curious if they have the disability card that still works for kids who has Autism. Thank you

Guest Service will issue a Guest with Disability card based on your documention. There are several levels of assistance cards so you will want to make sure you understand what your needs are and if the card will offer that assistance. There is nothing worse than getting to a park expecting one kind of accomodation and finding out the card is offering something else.

The one thing missing from these articles is using the First Aid Stations. There is usually a quiet area to sit in outside the stations, but, you can also go inside the building and take a stimulation-free "time out" in one of the examining rooms. Plan one or more of these if your son gets overstimulated - it really helped tremendously when my son was young.

Above all, and I can't stress this too much: Don't Try and Do Everything!!!! We did a lot of bench sitting in between attractions - talking about what he thought was the most fun, the hotel, etc. and trying to get him to focus on us and take a break from the stimulation as best we could.

Also, take time to wind him down and make the transition of leaving the park more pleasant.

Have you been to a disney park before? Go on YouTube - they have lots of clips of the interior of rides so you'll know what to expect and whether or not it's something your son would like, tolerate or hate.

You're all going to have the best time. Cast members are just the best with children (and adults, lol) with special needs. Have a Magical Trip :)
