Without his Kronk to play against Kitt's Yzma, ENG would have been a just another buddy movie. Ever since David Putty on Seinfeld, I've been hooked.

Although Kronk was great, there were many other elements in Groove that I enjoyed. Even without Kronk It's still a great film. IMO. The song is on the CD, if you want to know a little more family history of Yzma ~ amazing that this is the same person who sang "Santa Baby" so many years ago. Patrick really is overdosing on doing voice characters (many listed previously as well as a new Nick series of a family of superheroes ~ gee does that sound like a copycat of some other movie?) Point is, he is a very good voice actor, BUT I'm getting tired of hearing his voice in so many cartoons. On the other hand, Eartha hasn't done any other voice work since Groove, that I'm aware of, and am really looking forward to hearing her again. And to see Yzma and Kronk play off each other again, will be fun. Hopefully the movie will be as great as the original, and that we will see a couple new characters, and a little more of Bucky!

As much as I love John Goodman and Wendie Malick (Spade is OK in small doses), I found their scenes simply amusing. But Warburton and Kitt were hilarious! The Kronk-Yzma scenes made the movie.

Sort of funny in places. But it all felt like tip-of-the-hats to the original movie. I give it about a 5.5 How they got all the original voice talents to come back and do this is mind-boggling.
