If my memory is correct, Glendale had a Disney themed float in the 1985 parade. Disney did a 40 Years of Adventures opening show for the 1995 parade. In case anyone is interested! (Looked through the digital online program for this year's parade and saw nothing to indicate a Disneyland 60th anniversary presence in the parade.)

The 1985 parade not only had a City of Glendale Donald Duck 50th anniversary float, but a City of Burbank float designed by Disney Animation's Don Hahn. I forget the title, but it had children from around the world, who looked a bit like the Small World clock parade dolls.
