LA Times reports castle walkthrough to re-open.

The CM told us that it was closed because it was not wheelchair accessible. I don't know if she knew the truth, but it seemed like a reasonable response. However, I don't think there is any way they could make it accessible so if that was the reason or the closure I don't know why it would re-open. I'd like it to though.

    That was never the reason why the Castle closed in the first place. $$$

    There are ways for them to bring some level of show to the ADA's without them having to walk through.

    I don't think Disney has ever officially stated why it closed. But given the timing of the closing shortly after 9/11, it seems reasonable that security was a large factor.

    Say what you will about the Nemo thing, but I just rode the subs for the first time since they closed, and I really dug the effects. The way they had the projections on multiple planes with lots of depth - very very cool!

    Just cuz it ain't animatronic doesn't mean it ain't good!
