We had at that time cause it was spring break for our son here in Northern CA. They get two weeks so we thought that the second week would be better than the first. We have also been the first week of May and it was not bad at all.

Also, it rained the whole time we were there. If you go the second week of May, the weather is great, no lines, perfect! Right after all the breaks are done and before the grad nights start happening and the parks close early for them.
