Originally Posted By dshyates Night Ranger was part of the Pop Metal genre from the 80s along with Damn Yankees and Sammy Hagar. They were a cleaned up made for MTV version of Motley Crue and Ratt. Night Ranger opened for Ozzy and Brad Gillis filled in when Randy Rhodes died. They weren't Heavy Metel, but were firmly in the Pop Metal genre.
