And fantasy, including young adult, is my favorite genre. I'm rereading Harry Potter at the moment, so good example HS. I was expecting more "insider" and "magical" feelings from reading this and they mostly didn't seem special to me. On a side note (or as a specific example), the fact that Pearson wrote that the kids couldn't just walk around the parks because they were "notorious" left me less-than-impressed with his writing and editors.
