This is EXACTLY why I was skeptical of the whole D23 thing in the first place. They can't help themselves. No matter how well-intentioned things start out, the current Disney culture can't do anything without turning it into a hard sell. I was starting to waver, but they've restored my lack of faith.
Originally Posted By retlawfan The viewing of upcoming ABC series was a very minor part of the expo. In fact it was upstairs away from the Expo floor where most of the action was going on. It was a nice add on to the rest of the Expo when one wanted to find a cool, quiet place to sit down for a while. Why not sit down for 22 minutes and see what's coming soon. There was no "hard sell" at all. ABC TV is an important piece of the Disney puzzle, after all.
