I thought the tribute to 9-11 was very well placed and necessary when highlighting major moments and people of US history. I can understand why have some have said the new montage can be emotional. Very nice little update. Nothing major, but keeps one of my favorite attractions nicely updated.

I don't want to point out (that's sarcasm) that those scenes were all 'lifted' from DCA's Golden Dreams.

That's certainly the most meaningful day to many Americans of this generation.

I'm curious as to whether that means they removed the WTC from the background of the final scene with Ben and Twain too?

I thought I recognized some of those scenes from something i watched a few days ago.

it appears to flow well with the music.

So basically, everyone who has been under contract at Disney at some point or another gets a publicity shot in this mediocre film ending. I wish they pulled the plug on this political show. And you House of Prez at the MK too!

Nearly every major event that has shaped our country, from the day our founding fathers decided to embark on becoming independent to the Civil war to the World Wars to the events of today can be considered "political". You can't accurately portray the history of this great nation and take politics out of it completely. AA is one of my favorite shows and attractions of all time and I have always found the way they have portrayed many of the important historical milestones that shaped our country, and continue to shape it, are well presented without becoming overly political. But that is just my opinion and you are certainly welcome to yours.

I agree though that The House of Presidents at the MK in its current incarnation is very political and its story arc needs a change.

    Period.

The HoP in its current partisan state is a joke. But it was once a wonderful historical attraction.

Absolutely agreed. It was intended as such, and is one of those happy moments when inspiration, talent and ambition were coupled with ample resources, for a magnificent result.

As for the Hall of Presidents - I avoid the current version like the plague! The current version of HoP has runied what used to be a great show.
