You know I thought about you Jim when I read that stuff about AA critters along the shores. LOL. I don't understand the claim that budget doesn't allow for the installation of these new scenes, all the while they are adding new figures and scenes to the RoA - which already has scenery.

Then you are going to walk around in wet underwear .. and take an hour or more to fully dry? Of course .. that depends on the temps for the day .. and if it's pushing into the evening. Disney use to lead .. and not follow. First time I ever encountered this type of ride was the raft ride in Magic Mountain. Oh .. about 1985. It was brand new .. and I found it rather boring .. and I didn't care for getting drenched. Then Knott's Berry Farm followed Magic Mountain with Big Foot Rapids. Then Sea World followed with Shipwreck Rapids ....... Then along came - "if it's good enough for Six Flags, it's good enough for Disney" - ???? Disney thinks everyone likes getting drenched to the bone. -???? I'm not one of them. So sadly ... a huge attraction that sits in the center of DCA that should be enjoyed year round .. all day long ... is the perfect WATER PARK ride if you are wearing a bikini!

Originally Posted By Dr Hans Reinhardt "Disney use to lead .. and not follow." Well yes, but they've also been known to borrow existing ride systems or concepts and kick it up a notch. Those Bellagio fountains they just stuck out in Paradise Pier are a perfect example of this.
