You know the company that trained us from birth to expect the best from them. Besides what Metropolitan area in the U.S.of A., can you go to, and regularly see pregnate women, and children standing on a bus. Maybe it wasn't the cause of injuries in this case, but none the less it is a disaster waiting to happen, and I never miss a chance to rant on this subject.

The one that hit it shouldn't have, and should have stopped. It's the toll plaza bypass - that's where it happened. The buses going into Epcot on the left go through on the left lane without stopping and divided from the rest of the traffic like a carpool lane and then directed to the bus load/unload area. The "Disney" bus should have seen the "Mears" (aka: what appears to a Hotel Plaza Blvd/DtD bus) stopped and not hit it rather then zoning out and ramming it at full speed on what is essentially a straight and clear line of sight.

And aside from that, it's a huge long straight away with 2pm perfect visibility. Even assuming that yes, a bus stopped in the far left lane is abnormal - it's stopped, you're not supposed to just run into a non-moving object. Yes, accidents will happen but this is just ridiculous.

No one can write, no one can spell-- Lord knows no one proofs anything... one of my biggest pet peeves....most papers here now are rags

Unfortunately this type of accident happens and while you would think that the driver who was in the rear could have stopped that is usually not the case. BUT, I do agree that the bus situation at WDW is a horrible accident waiting to happen. I always try to wait for a bus so I won't have to stand, however, if I am on the bus and see elderly, pregnant women, or children standing I will give them my seat. It always amazes me how many parents will say no to me and allow their children to stand instead. Just the thought of the driver slamming on his breaks and sending those kids flying makes me sick. And yes, journalism today is not real journalism anymore.

Not our Disney. Don't they always put guest, and CM's safety ahead of everything else?

I'm sitting here in my underwear drinking my midday Manhatan, banging away on my keyboard pointing out, and discussing the problems of the World. What's a little bad grammar, and a few misspelled words amoung friends.
